Skillshare: Using fine alpaca to make a small vessel

Many of us have experienced the pitfalls of using poor quality alpaca fibre for feltmaking. The results are often not pretty. Here is your chance to work with high quality alpaca fibre and experience the difference. Good alpaca felts easily and is fantastic for making lightweight, strong 3D objects that hold their shape well.

In this skillshare led by Robyn Toohey, members will be able to make a small vessel on a resist using alpaca fibre. Robyn will provide alpaca fibre for you to use, Jennie will provide resists, you bring felting equipment. You might also like to bring a small amount of brightly coloured viscose fibre to decorate the surface. We will probably be working with 4-6 people at a table so think small for your equipment.

There is no additional charge for this skillshare. Just pay your usual $5 for attending the General Meeting. It would help if you can register for the meeting+skillshare so that we get an idea of how many people will be participating.

Cost is $5 which includes the lucky door prize (remember to get a ticket when you sign the attendance book). The fee is to help cover the room hire costs.
