Disperse dye transfer printing on synthetic fabrics
Discover how to make custom made linings or personally decorated synthetics for your nuno and felt projects. Do you want to enliven your plain polyester and synthetic fabrics?
Annette will teach a method using special disperse dyes made for synthetic fabrics which she will bring. We will paint, stamp, brush, colour and make patterns on paper. Using an ironing press and a heat press, we will transfer the images onto fabric. We will also work with resists to make intriguing images. You will get a chance to see a demonstration and try it out for yourselves and go home with some great samples.
What to bring:
- If you have some, white synthetic fabrics cut into A4 sizes eg. polyester satin, acetate lining, polyester chiffon, organza
- if you have drawings or images that you like, print them on A4 paper and bring them ready to add colour.

Registration is required. Payment can be done online using PayPal or by paying invoice by direct deposit to the CRF bank account. Using the Wild Apricot Members App is a quick way to register and pay.
